GIVING BACK IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CULTURE HERE AT
THE GREEN ROOM.
We know that creating meaning in everything we do is an essential part of our work. This is why we created The Giving Room.
It’s a place where our teams and clients come together to support causes we believe in.Often times we spend a week or two in the cities where our events are taking place and, for a short while, these communities become our homes. We feel strongly that we want to make a difference while there by helping in ways that aren’t required by our “day job”.
So, in each city we visit, The Giving Room will choose two local charities to highlight. Our goal is to create awareness for these organizations and to also give those of us on site a chance to connect with others on a more meaningful level.
These charities will receive $5,000 from us. City by city, we want to make an impact and leave things just a little bit better than we found it.

Youth Eastside Services (YES!)

The Green Room’s donation to Youth Eastside Services (YES) will provide lifesaving mental health and substance use counseling for children and youth to recover, heal and thrive.
Rose, A YES client, shares how impactful getting help has meant to her. “My YES counselor helped me avoid bad situations like meeting up with friends that weren’t good for me, so I wouldn’t lose any of the progress I had made. Before I had difficulty coping with things, now I’m better.”
The Green Room’s contribution will help youth like Rose, develop skills to reduce substance use, make safe choices, and cope with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. With treatment, recovery is not only possible, but also the most likely outcome.
